The Will McBride Archive
houses three-hundred and fifty thousand negatives and about the same number of diapositives, sixty years of correspondence, writings, the library... The archive however does not serve a single purpose. It is open to anyone with genuine interest in the work of Will McBride and the man from which it can not be divorced. The hope is that this spirit of openness will encourage people to use the archive as a source for their research, or any possible diverse projects. That would certainly have been in the interest of Will McBride, and in the progressive spirit of his times.

Copyright for the images rest with Shawn McBride. A small number of original prints, signed or authorized by the right's holder, are for sale. The owner of these rights will issue limited numbers of reprints on demand, or in the context of exhibitions in the form of limited editions.
